ALDERTON

NEAR WINCHCOMBE

Lying on the edge of both the Cotswolds (AONB), and the Vale of Evesham, the historic village of Alderton is ideally located for those wishing to visit the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

The village is 9 miles north of the Regency spa town of Cheltenham and 15 miles west of the picturesque market town of Stow-on-the-Wold.

The local pub, The Gardeners Arms, is a 16th century thatched free house providing a great range of drinks and excellent home cooked food. Alderton also benefits from a village store and post office.

Walkers are well situated to explore the variety of walks, and The Winchcombe Way Trail passes directly in front of the house. The Cotswold Way can be picked up at Stanway, just four miles away.

Whether it is horseracing, walking, shopping, literature festivals or just the chance to explore some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous towns and villages in England, Bells Cottage is perfectly located.
